The trip has started wonderfully – Annie got busted by Customs for trying to smuggle a pair of garden shears aboard in her handbag. Mind you they were artfully disguised as a pair of folding nail scissors, but shears are shears.
Day was very foggy, but fortunately we were only delayed by about 20 mins. According to the flight details on the console it was 11,103km and took just over 13 and half hours.
11,103 km wonder if that included taxiing, or was just measured after the wheels left the ground and first bumpy touchdown?
Anyway, off to Johannesburg.
