\nAnother beautiful day, with a slight overcast.<\/p>\n

First thing this morning we are off to Rabbit Island.<\/p>\n

Rabbit Island is about a 20 minute boat ride away. No temples, no souvenir shops, nothing but beach, sun and then lunch before returning.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The other motley crew<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Our skipper<\/p>\n

While I was sorting photos and writing dross, I had a faithful companion at my feet.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The beachfront:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And then Vuttah announced lunch. Mixed feelings-lunch, like all the meals, will be outstanding, but it also heralds time to leave.<\/p>\n

\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the road again, and this time a quick stop at Kampot Markets<\/strong><\/p>\n

A total rabbit warren of stalls, with a low roof, and draining ditches running throughout. It was no where as bright as the photos suggest, and they sure do not do justice the aromas that percolate through the place. A total mix of food, clothes, shoes, kitchenware, jewelry and even a metal-worker.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

All over the world kids are the same, This one had the most beautiful smile and giggle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then there is the butcher shop<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And the fish. Watched multiple people pick them up, check them then put them back.<\/p>\n

Take away chicken -plucked or not, gizzards and all<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In the middle of all this, a metal-worker. Love his lunch at his workbench, then again I didn’t notice a dining hall<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

And Annie’s favourite – pedal powered Singer<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Sihanoukville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our resting place for the night, but first a visit to a Buddhist temple. Not an ancient one, but a new one being constructed for the Chinese tourist market. Tacky sort of springs to mind. In hindsight, that sums up Sihanoukville – bars, food outlets and casinos – a beachside party town.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The overseer<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At last something interesting (Guess what?) A DOG<\/p>\n

But first the temple monkey:<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The carefully stalked the monkey, but made very sure it wasn’t coming back<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
