Prasat Banan Temple<\/strong> (alias Cardio 2)
\nBuilt round 1066, the guide book says it is situated on a small hill!!! – they obviously haven’t climbed the steps. Way steeper and more irregular, even Vuttta was puffing on the way up.<\/p>\n

It starts off innocuously enough, with a small ruin and a set of even, regular steps<\/p>\n

Then a glance ahead suggests that things are going to get a bit more challenging.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Methinks I should have taken a bit more notice of the dragon on the handrail\"\"<\/p>\n

By now the stairs are far more uneven and broken.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

3\/4 the way up is a sign saying ‘Steep Stair’ – like tell me something I don’t know!!
\nActually each section was steeper than the one before<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The final set of steps look the most daunting yet, and certain weaklings turned back at this point<\/p>\n

At the summit (small hill be buggered), a main was laying out a personal shrine.\"\"<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Tanya was striding round the top like ‘so what’ , I could go another 400\"\"<\/p>\n

Worst part was looking back down and thinking of the pain yet to come.<\/p>\n

At the bottom, gasping and sweating up storm, it was all put in perspective by this youngster\"\"<\/p>\n
