Cross the border into Hungary, then pause at Lake Balaton.
Start of the day was a trip to Kumrovec on the way to Lake Balaton, for a traditional Croation country feed. and boy what a feed it was. The views after were also spectacular.
On the way out, there were miniature houses dotted around the landscape.
Next stop was Kukorica Csárda near the shores of Lake Balaton for an early dinner.
Ater this, I have a new standard for ‘stuffed absolutely full’
Fortunately, this sense of stuffedness was followed by a short sojourn to the shores of Lake Balaton.
Lake Balaton is the largest lake in Central Europe, and is known affectionately by locals as the ‘Hungarian Sea’.
As with any fishhing area, there are tales to tell, pictures to take to verify the stories, and of course ducks to feed:
